1.Introduction
Thank you for choosing Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+.
With Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+ you can surf internet on the go.
The pictures in this "user guide" are used to indicate Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+ functions, so they may
appear different on the modem dialer. Please refer to your Data Modem if there are differences.

Insert
MicroSD Card
Remove the back cover. Insert “Micro SD” card as indicated in fig. above. Close the back cover.
Insert modem in the usb interface of PC. “Removable Disk” icon will appear. One can copy/paste or delete the
files to and from the removable disk.
Note:
1. Removable disk icon will appear only after installation of modem drivers.
2. Micro SD support upto 2GB.
Note:
1. Uninstall previous versions of ZTE Dialer before attempting to install Data Modem dialer, to ensure
successful installation.
2. Please connect Data Modem and PC with USB extension cable under weak signal to obtain optimal
performance. If necessary, adjust the Data Modem's position.
Uninstall
1. Select Start Programs Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+ Uninstall Reliance Netconnect -
Broadband+, and you will be asked if you want to remove the program. Click “Yes” to uninstall.
2. Please wait and then click “OK” to complete uninstallation.
4. Double-click the icon in the setup volume to start the setup wizard. Follow the wizard to complete the
installation step by step.
5. Click “Restart” to complete the software installation.
Uninstall
1. Select Finder Applications Reliance Netconnect - Broadband+ Uninstall Reliance Netconnect -
Broadband+, and you will be asked if you want to remove the program. Click “Yes” to uninstall.
2. Please wait and then click “OK” to complete uninstallation.

7. ACTIVATION
In order to access internet, you should activate the USB modem first.
Note: Activation is not allowed in “Broadband+” mode. Please switch to “Hybrid” or “High Speed 1X” mode
for activation.

1. Click icon to set the relevant parameters. For details, please refer to "Settings".

4. Please connect the usb modem and PC with USB extension cable under weak signal to obtain the optimal
performance. If necessary, adjust the usb modem’s position.

9. Connection Logs
Click icon to view Connection Logs . Connection records save the data session information.
By switching among "List", "Month" and "Statistic", one can check the records by month or by time.
Note:Details are only for reference purpose and not for billing purpose.
10. Settings
Set the network parameters (phone number, username, password), work mode, etc.
After the setting, click "Apply" button to save the settings on the current interface.
Click "Default" button and then "Apply" button to restore the settings on the current interface to factory default.
Note: The default network setup parameters are as below. Different regions may have different network setup
parameters, so please consult your local telecom operator.

Modem operates in three modes.
High speed 1X — When user selects this mode modem will latch only to High speed 1x network.
Broadband+ — When user selects this mode modem will latch only to Broadband+ network. Here user will
observe higher data speeds and rich web browsing experience.
Hybrid — When user selects this mode modem will latch on to the available service so that user can enjoy
seamless connectivity.
Click “Settings” Æ options to select “Lock USB Modem”. Check “verify password when startup”. You can set
password to lock the USB Modem.
When the modem is locked, click “Settings” button then select “Unlock USB Modem”, input password and
click “OK”, the USB Modem will be unlocked.
Click “Settings” button then select “Change lock code”, you can modify the password.
