Breif operating Procedure
Applitech’s SP-50 electrical RTU (Remote
Telemetry Unit).
Applitech’s SP-50 electrical RTU consists
1. Data acquisition CPU(Micrologix
1400): 10 Channel (20 channels of
Dual input i.e. 00,10,01,11) of digital
Input, 12 Channels of Digital output,
RS232 port, RS 485 / Modbus port
on board.
2. Communication CPU
(Broadrnsen): five configurable
communication ports on board.
3. Data concentrator CPU( Prolinks):
Three configurable communication
ports on board.
4. Seperate 8 channel Analog Input
module with Modbus communication
port.
5. Other Components: Input supply
MCB, Filters, Transformer, 24V DC
power supply and terminals.
230V +/- 10%, 50Hz+/- 5%, single phase
and neutral. The maximum load current is
1A. Two seperate Earth terminals (01) Input
power earthing (02) Electronic earthing.
1. 24V DC for Digital Input ( Available
Internally)

Applitech’s SP-50 electrical RTU acquires
the data from the different devices (Status
by digital inputs and operating parameters
by Analog input) of the plant (e.g. Power
distribution substation).It also scales and
converts the data in to required code and
then transmits the data as per
requirements.

either remain in normal working condition
during the test period and after the test
period or shall come back to normal
working condition after the test period.
Normal working condition is defined as "the
