You are on page 1of 2

Dear Mr. Park, thank you for your prompt feedback.

While you are monitoring the charger,

we kindly ask you to perform the following checks:
- Please fill the attached file “rectifier with current status of LEDs (solid ON ; Flashing ;
solid OFF) including the small LEDs located on the LCRD card.
- Measure the battery charging voltage on the battery bank terminal.
If after few days the alarm is not coming, you should perform the following tests:
- Push the button “test charge” located on the LCRD card. The charging mode should
change from floating charge (green led “Floating” flashing ; yellow led “Boost” solid
ON) to Boost charge (green led “Floating” solid ON ; yellow led “Boost” flashing).
- The charger performs a boost charge cycle and within 8h it should transfer to floating
automatically. If not (due to an issue), due to the safety timer, the charger will be
forced to transfers to floating and the alarm “safety timer” will come. So you should
verify if the charger will transfer to floating automatically within 8h or the alarm “safety
timer” will come and the led “safety timer” located on the LCRD card will be
flashing.

Awaiting for your feedback

Best regards
Dear Mr. Park,
Thank you for your feedback.
First, we would like to ask you regarding the charger trip due to the “Max voltage. Did you try
to replace the ALR card and RIF-RAD card one by one in order to individuate which one
between them is the source of this issue?
Regarding the alarm “SAF.Timer/micro” , we noted your feedback, please find below
additional test to understand which is the source:
- When the alarm “SAF.Timer/micro” is present, please tell us if the small LED “Micro
OK” located on the LCRD card is blinking or it is solid ON/ solid OFF (it should be
blinking normally)
- Switch OFF the charger and remove the Canbus connection (flat cable) from terminal
CN2 of the charger logics box
- Switch ON the charger if the “SAF.Timer/micro” alarm is coming, push and keep
pushed for few seconds the reset button located in between the led last two LEDs
(bottom side) of the LCRD card.
- If the “SAF.Timer/micro” alarm has been cleared, keep the system running without
the canbus flat cable (CN2) for some days in order to verify if it is coming again.
- If it is coming again, you should replace the LCRD card with the new one, switch ON
the charger and keep it running for some days without the canbus flat cable and then
(If the alarm is not coming) connect back the canbus flat cable.
