Dear Ms. Restauro:

This is to request permission to allow Norhanifah L. Marohomsalic, RL to participate in

an educational visit to the Cagayan de Oro City Archives on July 20, 2018, Friday.

Ms. Marohomsalic is enrolled this semester in the graduate course MLIS 108 Archives
and Records Management which deals with records management and the practical
administration of archives. Aside from the lectures, a requirement of the course is educational
visits to various archives and museums in the city. Classes are normally held on a Saturday, but
may I request special consideration for class attendance this July 20 which is a Friday. The
reason for this weekday activity is that the City Archives, being a government entity, is closed
on Saturdays. Thus, there is no other day that the educational visit can be made except on a
weekday.

A written report will be required of each student regarding his/her perspective on the
archives/museums visited. In addition, a certificate of appearance shall be issued as evidence
of participation in the educational visit
