MOMENT OF CONFESSION
Liturgist: Have mercy upon me, O God. According to thy loving-kindness, according to thy tender
mercies blot out my transgressions.
People: Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from sin. For I acknowledge my sins.
Liturgist: Purge me with my hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
People: Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou has broken may rejoice.
Liturgist: Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
People: Create in me a clean heart, O God and renew a right spirit within me.

AS WE SERVE
“So don’t be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord Jesus, or of me His prisoner. Instead, share in the
suffering of the gospel, relying on the power of God. He has saved us and called us with a holy calling,
not according to your works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in
Christ Jesus before time began. This has been made evident through the appearing of our Savior Christ
Jesus; who has abolished death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. (s Tim.
1:8-10).
We should not be ashamed of the gospel but reminded of its power.
Don’t be ashamed by Jesus’ suffering or my (Paul) suffering or be scared about your own suffering.
Constantly remind yourself of the power of the gospel!” It’s as if Paul is saying, “Believe what you know
to be true, not just what your eyes see at this moment.”
LOOKING FORWARD
Today, we bring the curtain up fir another month of August. May this month will bring an impact as we
