Arthur Sheffield, Associate AIA was elected 2018-19 Associate Director at Large for AIA Florida.

Sheffield, Associate AIA was elected 2018-19 Associate Director at Large at the AIA Florida annual
meeting in Ponte Vedra Beach on July 19. Sheffield has served on the AIA Florida Gulf Coast chapter
board since 2016.

Sheffield's responsibilities include providing leadership and a voice for associate members through
education, professional practice, mentoring, licensure preparation, social activities, and community
engagement.

AIA Florida is a united association of architects who lead the shaping of Florida's future. The state
association is headed by a 22-person board of directors representing the 13 chapters in Florida, a staff of
seven professional executives and staff support personnel keeps the organization operating and
responding to member needs.
