 Observe Indian Electrical Standards and Building Service rules and prepare schematic based on load
pattern
 Planning of electrical distribution system to make the system efficient and economical
 Preparing and verifying the preliminary conceptual drawing & detailed shop drawing with respect to
the architectural drawings by coordinating with other services like HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, etc

ESTIMATION
 Sending enquiries to various approved vendors
 Making cost sheets in MS Excel
 Calculating overheads for the project
  Complete estimation of the project as per BOQ
 Collaborating with various organizations for determining the best price offer for each product
required in estimate report
 Maintaining the current and previous Estimation records and referring to it occasionally for ensuring
the range of accuracy, compliance, and completeness in the evaluated results

EXECUTION
 Preparing the working drawings and get it approved by the consultant
 Getting the work done as per the tender specifications and the approved drawings
 Assuring the best quality of work
 Maintaining the record of materials and manpower
 Arranging the additional manpower as and when required
 Maintain and distribute project information to other team members
 Attending the site meetings with the Consultant/Client/Architect
 Preparing the ‘As Built’ drawings after the completion of the project

BILLING
Preparing and getting certified from the Clients/Consultants/Architect the following:
 Bills for the work done
 Rate analysis for extra items not covered in the tender
 Bills for the extra items

PURCHASE
 Checking the supplier’s quotation with reference to the tender
 Making the comparative statements of all the short listed suppliers
 Negotiating with the suppliers
 Finalizing of the supplier
 Issuing the letter of intent to the suppliers
