Courtyards are enclosed spaces in a building used for natural

ventilation and lighting purpose.Courtyards have been used
since ages and it's use has changed from time to time.
Planning in hierarchy n essential while design a campus.Semi-
private gathering spaces are very helpful in terms of group
discussions for a group of five or six.

Alongwith with the macro level planning it is important for

every designed space to be multifunctional. It is essential for
an outdoor space to compliment the indoor spaces.

Learning happpens when a student practically applies it;and

for this reason it becomes important for an architect to plan
the landscape in a welcoming and student-oriented
manner.Sustainability plays a vital role in designing a
landscape.

To design a sustainable campus architects should keep

pedestrians as their primary focus. Urban
green spaces contribute positive impacts on the
wellbeing of their users
One should be able to design the spaces in accordance to
the , keeping in mind the heirarchy of users in campus
planning ,yet keeping a link between those spaces.

Orientation of a building with respect to the sun can have a

great impact on the functional aspect of a
building.Pedestrians pathways should be inviting and safe at
the same time and should provide direct connections to
different places.
