Objectives:

1. Identify the motor control component.

2. Connect the motor in DOL Forward connection.
Learning Outcomes:

1. To install and connect the 3 phase power supply wiring for a Direct On Line (DOL) Forward
Motor Control connection.

1. Safety precaution.
2. Standard operating procedure.
3. Personal Protection Equipment
4. Connector.
5. Tools.
6. Necessary item needed

Procedures:

1. Connect the wiring for the 3 phase Direct On Line (DOL) Forward Motor Control. As in figure 1.

Observation and Measurement:

2. On completion test the circuit using continuity check and insulation test before testing it with a power
supply.
3. Switch “ON” the supply / motor.
4. Press “FORWARD” button. Verify that the motor turn in “Forward” direction.
5. Press “STOP”. Make sure the motor has “STOP”.
6. Switch “OFF” the supply / motor.
