comparison of thickness and weight with same Flexural Rigidity

Aluminium cover sheets and a mineral core ensure an impressive weight: flexural rigidity relation, even
in terms of large panel size. Despite the easy and light weight handling which this brings about when
processing and assembling. Alopanel U.S.A consistently shows its strong side, due to its excellent flexural
rigidity: the panel remains stable in terms of shape and flatness, even when there are extreme temperature
flucturations.

LOADING AND PANEL DIMENTIONS

This chart is to determine the maximum panel size of Alopanel U.S.A supported on all 4 sides based on
the charactristic stress of 90 N/mm2 (without safety)

MATERIAL PROPERTIES

ALOPANEL®

ALOPANEL® is a rigid, yet flexible façade

material for architectural uses.
ALOPANEL® is extremely weatherproof,
impact-resistant and break-proof,
vibrationdamping, and ensures easy and fast
installation. ALOPANEL® is produced with
various core thicknesses in a continuous
lamination process and then customized
regarding dimensions.

ALOPANEL® FR

ALOPANEL®plus has been developed exclusively for the more stringent requirements of the fire
prevention regulations in architectural products. Thanks to its mineral-filled, core ALOPANEL®
FR meets the stricter
requirements of the fire classifications. It is 0.5 mm aluminium

hardly inflammable and offers all the proven Mineral filled core
product properties of the ALOPANEL® family,
such as flatness, formability, 0.5 mm aluminium
resistance to weather and easy processing.
– low flammability–
