Ask the students about the previous lesson
which is the use of Web 2.0 and Web 3.0
The students will be divided to four groups and each
will write a list of social problems in the Philippines.
After 5 minutes, each group will say the problems
that they have listed and they will crush it out if the
other group has also listed it. The group will receive
a point if no other group has listed their social
problem.
ICT as Platform for Change. The teacher
will present a short introduction about the
topic and why it is actually important for it
to be discussed
Some of the famous social problems that
have occurred in the Philippines over the
past few years will be presented
The teacher will ask the students how the people
actually dealt with the problems that happened with
the use of technology and the students shall discuss
it.
The teacher will also discuss the website,
Change.org which tackles about the different
petitions of the people concerning social issues
Photo for a cause: Take a raw photo and
put a simple text to it citing how their work
can actually help with the topic "social
change"
