MATLAB Access for Everyone at Vellore Institute of Technology – Vellore

Students, Staff & Faculty members are requested to follow the below  
Procedure to avail the MATLAB license for individuals. 
 

1. Type the URL in a Browser   http://matlab.vit.ac.in 
 

2. Scroll down and Click “Get Started Today” under the tab “Download MATLAB” 

 
 

 
  
 

Note: Use your VIT Email ID here to Create MathWorks Account. 

 
 

 
A verification mail will be received in your email account.   

 
 

 
 

 
Provide your First Name, Last Name, Department, Role and set your own Password. 

 
 

Finally your MathWorks Account will be associated with a license for MatLab.

Now you can download the softwares.

(Sources available for Windows, Linux & Apple‐Mac in ISO format) 
 

Students may contact the following Labs / Lab assistants to copy 
MATLAB software. Kindly bring a 16GB Pen drive in NTFS formatted. 
Note: If your operating system is 32bit, kindly collect MATLAB 2015B version only.
