Written Test and Interview for recruitment of staff in Computer

Systems Department

Please refer our advertisement hosted in our website for recruitment of Sr.
Associates/ Asst. Managers/ Deputy Managers/ Managers/ Sr. Managers and
Chief Managers for our Computer Systems Department in Chennai,
Kumbakonam and other nodal centers, for which the last date of submission
of application was 07.07.2017.

Due to overwhelming response received for the advertisement, we have

decided to give opportunities to all candidates who have applied. Hence, we
propose to conduct a written test to shortlist the candidates before
interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.

The written test will be for a duration of 3 hours with multiple choice
questions. A sample of some of the topics being covered in the written test
are mentioned below, this is not an exhaustive list and questions may be
asked from other areas also:
1 General aptitude, logical reasoning
2 Current trends in General banking
3 Programming in C, java, python, PERL
4 Operating systems – unix commands, shell scripts
5 Web technology – html, php, jsp, mobile app development
6 Networking basics, administration
7 Network security
8 Information and cyber security
9 Relational database management systems
10 Data warehousing techniques
11 English and Communication Skills
For many of the above mentioned topics, lectures are available at
www.nptel.ac.in. Sample questions are also annexed for the reference of the
candidates. The question paper attached is only a model for the
candidate’s reference and does not represent the actual written
test’s model, number of questions, topics or duration of the
examination. Hence, candidates are advised to prepare suitably for
the test.

The Date and Venue for the written test is given below. Individual call letter
along with hall ticket will be sent to the Email Id’s of the respective
candidates besides sending SMS Alert to their mobile also by 10th August
2017. For those who do not receive the call letter by 12th August 2017,
please contact HR department through the Email ID

Original Photo ID proof at the time of attending the written examination.
