Special precautions for single core cables Some other installation examples of single core
for a.c. wiring cables (phases 1, 2 and 3)
Whenever possible, a.c. wiring should be carried out with
multicore cables. When it is necessary to use single core cables, Four cables per phase
they should either be unarmoured or armoured with
a non-magnetic material. 1 3 3 1 or 1 2 3 3 2 1
When several multi or single core cables are connected 2 2 2 2 3 2 1 1 2 3

All cables pertaining to the same phase should be alternated Six cables per phase
