ABSTRACT

A current conveyor is an abstraction for a three terminal analogue electronic device. It is a

form
of electronic amplifier with unity gain. This abstract presents the CMOS based current
conveyor-II for low power circuits. The circuit designing and PCB layout presentation of
wide
band current conveyor will be done. The different power saving techniques will be used to
make the circuit more power saving.
The power saving strategy is based on low bias currents as well as using class AB current
following stages. The circuit achieves large bandwidth with high accuracy taking care of
lesser
number of components used in the circuit.
Current Problems :-
The current problem associated with this circuit is the number of components used in it and
the
bandwidth in which the gain response and the phase response is unity is to be improved.
With reference to research paper, the solution proposed is we will find optimized design for
the current conveyor and reduce the number of transistor and will use stacking technique.
Introduction
Current conveyors are castoff as current-feedback operational amplifiers to reduce the power
of the amplifiers,
which geographies current feedback relatively than the conventional voltage feedback used
by regular
op-amps. This implies that the used current feedback operational amplifier is not
limited by the conventional gain bandwidth product of a regular op-amp, and may
propose a much larger gain bandwidth product result than this one voltage-feedback
counterpart. Current
conveyors are used in high-frequency solicitations where the conventional operational
amplifiers use is limited, due to the regular opamp designs available are inadequate by their
gain-bandwidth product.
Advantages: -

1.Current conveyors are used in high-frequency claims where we cannot use regular
operational amplifiers , because the regular operational amplifier proposals are inadequate by
their
gain- bandwidth product.
2.current conveyers are having easier circuit implementation, very large bandwidth and
ability to work at comparatively low voltages.
Current conveyors are having concord gain active components comprising larger principle of
superposition and homogeneity i.e. linearity
Disadvantages: -
The current conveyor is only inadequate by the unity cutoff frequency gain (ft) of the
amplifiers that is implied when implemented in the layouts.
Some submissions where current conveyors are used today comprise RF mixers, very high-
frequency (VHF)
ideal rectifiers, and medicinal submissions by way of Electrical Impedance Tomography
(EIT).
