An incident that had the potential to cause personal injury,
property damage or both..

ऐसी घटिा जिसिें व्यजतिगि चोट, संपजति की क्षनि या िोिों

Unsafe Act असुरक्षित कायय
Unsafe Act - Performance of a task or activity in a
manner that may threaten the health, safety and
environment of workplace. For eg.,
• Lack of or improper use of PPE.
• Failure to lockout/tag out.

असुरक्षित कायय - ककसी कायय या गनिविधि का प्रिशयि ऐसे

िरीके से करिा है जिससे काययस्थल के स्िास््य, सुरक्षा और
पयायिरण को खिरा हो सकिा है उिाहरण के मलए

Unsafe Condition असुरक्षित हालात

Unsafe Condition - A condition in the work
place that is likely to cause either injury, property
or environmental damage

How Near miss is different from Unsafe act / condition..
कैसे ननयर मिस असुरक्षित कायय / हालात से मभन्न है
In near miss incidents there is a Release / nearly release of
hazard beyond limit which is not so in unsafe act / condition.
नियर मिस घटिाओं िें खिरे का छूटिा सीिा से अधिक होिा है . िो

Near miss guidelines

• Near miss case is a warning sign and a symptom for incidents

with serious outcomes.
• Several studies shows serious incidents can be controlled
when near miss cases are reported , investigated and findings
are properly rectified.

• “नियर मिस” केस एक चेिाििी का संकेि है और गंभीर पररणािों

िाले घटिाओं के मलए एक लक्षण है ।
• कई अध्ययिों से पिा चलिा है कक गंभीर घटिाओं को नियंबत्रि
