CLAT & AILET

CLAT stands for “Common Law Admission Test “this test is of national level and it
allows students to qualify the given test and get into National Law Universities and
Private Universities on the basis of there scores in CLAT .This test started in 2008
and there are total 19 NLUs in INDIA which all are est. as per the legislature both
center and state .

 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :- To be eligible for CLAT, the candidates must


have secured:
(a) Forty five percent (45%) marks in Qualifying Exam (Class XII or equivalent) in
case of candidates belonging to Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP)
and other categories.
(b) Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST
categories.
 CCandidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2018
are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2018 online examination. However, they
shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying
examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to
be considered for admission.
 The result of qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the
candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible
for admission to the Course.

1. ENGLISH :- general English (reading comprehensions, error
spotting etc.)
2. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:- (static, current)
3. LOGICAL REASONING:- (analytical reasoning)
4. LEGAL REASONING :- (reasoning on facts and principles)
5. MATHEMATICS:- (elementary math)

AILET stands for “All India Law Entrance Test”


This test is for those students who wish to pursue their
graduation from NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY DELHI
(NLUD)
