self-direction and for making students better

PREAMBLE

We, the society of the AGRICULTURAL TECHONOLOGY student’s of the CENTRAL


BICOL STATE UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE, imploring the aid of divine providence in
order to unite under one organization of common interest and spirit that shall promote and
developed intimate relationships among the member, faculty and personnel and to instill societal
and national consciousness among its members, enhance cooperation and coordination and adapt
this constitution and by-laws.

ARTICLE I

NAME AND NATION OF THE ORGANIZATION

Section 1.

This organization shall be known as the AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY or


AGRITECH SOCIETY (ATS)

Section 2.

The ATS organization is composed of all students who enrolled in the BACHELOER O
AGRICLTURAL TECHNOLOGY

ARTICLE II

OBJECTIVES

Section 1.

To foster unity and camaraderie among the AGRITECH SOCIETY students.

Section 2.

To serve as a body where the AGRITECH SOCIETY students, their academic and
none academic needs.
Section 3.
To serve as a channel that would bring to the school authorities of the students and
problem.
Section 4.

To undertake program and/or projects that will contribute to the academic


development.

Section 5.

To coordinate with other organization in the campus in undertaking


project/program that will serve the best interest of the students and college as a
whole.

ARTICLE III

MEMBERSHIP

Section 1.

Member of the organization shall compose of bona fide students of the college are
officially enrolled in BACHELOR OF AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY
course.

Section 2.

Membership of the organization shall be categorized into:

REGULAR member of all first year, second year, third year and fourth year
students officially enrolled in BAT curriculum.

Section 3.

Qualification of officers:

a. Must be bona fide students of Bachelor of Agricultural Technology Course.


b. With Good Academic Standing.
c. With Good Moral Character
d. Can handle the responsibility.

Section 4.

Tenure of officers:

a. All officers of this organization shall have term of one school year.
b. The effectively of the term of officers shall take effect immediately after
induction.
c. No officers shall be disqualifying to run for the election.

ARTICLE IV

DUTIES AND POWER OF THE OFFICERS

Section 1.

The President shall:

a. Preside over the general, regular, special and emergency meeting of the
organization.
b. Represent the organization Meeting, assemblies, conventions where the
organization needs his/her representation.
c. Convince all officers of the organization to discussed and decide on matters
affecting organization.
d. Create Committees.
e. Appoint the chairman of such committee.
f. Authorized and countersign all disbursement to pay by the organization.
g. Have the authority to appoint officers such as representatives.
h. Have the emergency to decide matters that would serve the best interest of the
organization especially on situation where the officer or the body cannot be
convinced or decide.
i. Respect the all members of AGRITECH SOCIETY.
j. have the Authority to command to all members of AGRITECH SOCIETY such
as OFFICERS, REPRESENTATIVES and MEMBERS.
Section 2.

Vice- President shall:

a. Assist the President in all matters affecting the organization.


b. Take over the duties of the president in case of her/his absence;
c. Accept any other responsibilities that may be assigned to him/her by the
President.
d. performed such as other duties delegated by President.

Section 3.

The Secretary shall:

a. Record and keeps the minutes of the meeting.


b. Prepare send communication pertaining to the activities of the organization.
c. Performed such as other duties delegated by President.
d. Be the Head of secretarial committee.

Section 4.

The Treasurer shall:

a. Keep an account of money received and disbursed by him/her in behalf of the


organization.
b. Acts as a custodian of the funds and property of the organization.
c. Collect and received contribution, donation or aids for the organization.
d. prepare the financial report of the organization.
e. Conduct a financial report before the end of the school year and certified copy of
the said report shall be presented in AGRICLTURAL SOCIETY bulletin board.
f. performed such as other duties delegated by President.

Section 5.

The Auditor shall:

a. Audits the account and funds of the organization.


b. Certify the legality of the expenses incurred by the organization.
c. Conduct pre-audit post report of the financial status of the organization.
d. performed such as other duties delegated by President.

Section 6.

The Public Information Officer (PIO) shall:

a. Be responsible of the information dissemination concerning the interest of the


organization.
b. Acts the spokesman o the organization.
c. Coordinates with the officers of the other campus organization an affecting affair
of organization.
d. performed such as other duties delegated by President.

Section 7.

The Business Manager shall:

a. Coordinate with other officers of the organization in proper implementation of


the program or project undertaken by the organization.
b. Supervised the Conduct of projects, program and activities of the organization.
c. Perform such other activities of the organization as may be delegated to him/her.
d. performed such as other duties delegated by President.

Section 8.

The Sergeant at arms shall:

a. Ensure all By-laws and tradition are respected by everyone.


b. Always support of the President by making sure he/she has all materials needed
before the meeting.
c. Responsible of enforcing the rules and regulation of the organization.
d. Must carry out orders from the President of the organization.
e. Make sure that the parliamentary procedures are followed.
f. performed such as other duties delegated by President.
Section 9.

The Muse and Escort shall:

a. Represent their department the organization during beauty contest and other
affairs their presence is needed.
b. Performed such other duties as may be delegated to them.
c. Preside in meeting as may be delegated by the President.
d. Honorary members all those students taking up in BACHELOR OF
AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY COURE.

ARTICLE V

DUTIES AND RIGHTS OF THE MEMBERS

Section 1.

Duties:

a. Respect the honor the organization.


b. It is sworn duty of the members to be loyal to the organization.
c.The uphold always the Constitution and by-laws of the organization and rules
and regulations and policies of the school.
d. To participate activity in all program or projects undertaken by the organization.

Section 2.

Rights:

a. To aspire for an elective position in the organization.


b. To select and cast a vote during election.
c. To air such complain and grievance any erring officer or member of the
organization.
d. To be hear and participate in the deliberation or discussion during the meetings
and assemblies of the organization.
e. To be updated with events and information of the organization.
f. Anny officers commit ARTICLE VI and ARTICLE X, the member of
organization has the right to expel the officers in his/her position providely:
*it should write the formal letters to the adviser an impeachment complain.
*it should be amended by ¾ votes of the member of the organization and officer
will expelled in his/her position.

ARTICLE VI

OFFICERS

Section 1.

The Officers of the organization shall be composed of:

a. President
b. Vice-President
c. Secretary
d. Treasurer
e. Auditor
f. Public Information Officer (PIO)
g. business Manager (2)
h. Sergeant at Arms (2)
i. Muse
j. Escort
k. Representative (2 each Section)
ARTICLE VII

ELECTION

Section 1.

Election of this organization shall be conducted annually and shall be done one
month after the start of the regular classes during the first semester. This is no case
shall not be conducted ahead of the election of class officer.

Section 2.

The election of officers of this organization shall be done during the general
meeting of all class officers.

Section 3.

The election committee should be created composed of a chairman, Vice-chairman


and three members who are not officers of any class organization to supervise the
conduct election.

Section 4.

Proclamations of winning officers shall be done by the committee on election


immediately after election.

Section 5.

Induction of officers shall be held 2 to 3 weeks after the proclamation.


ARTICLE VIII

FUNDS

Section 1.

Source of funds:

a. Membership Fee
b. Fines

c. Aids and donation


d. Fund raising campaign.

Section 2.

A membership fee of twenty-five pesos (25.00) shall be collected one week after
the start of the regular meeting.

Section 3.

Any officers who are absent during the meeting for no valid reason will be fined an
amount of fifty pesos only (50.00) per meeting.

Section 4.

Members who are absent or may absent during the meeting for no valid reason will
be fined an amount of twenty-five pesos only (25.00) per meeting.

Section 5.

Aids and donation given by individual or organization shall from part of the fund
of the organization.

Section 6.

Fund raising activities may be conducted by the organization.


Section 7.

The balanced of general funds of the organization for the year shall from an
integral part of the funds for the next school year.

Section 8.

No release of funds shall be made without properly accomplish receipt or voucher


bearing the signature of the President, Treasurer and Auditor there at.

ARTICLE IX
PENALTY

Section 1.

Anny officers who commits:

a. Two consecutive absences for the regular meeting shall be fined of fifty pesos
only (50.00) provided that he/she can present a valid reason.
b. Three consecutive absences will be subjected to the decision of the body.

Section 2.

Any officers who become irregular to his/her duties and responsibilities as state
any section of duties of ARTICLE IV is subjected to the discussion o the body.

Section 3.

Any members of this organization who violated o ARTICLE V and ARTICLE X


shall be subjected to their respective class adviser with ATS officers for the
disciplinary action and will be fine of twenty-five pesos only (25.00).
ARTICLE X

CODE OF CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE

Section 1.

The code shall apply to all bona fide students/members of Agricultural Technology
Society.

Section 2.

Dress code

a. Uniform- the member is required to wear the prescribed polo-shirt/T-shirt with


the color decided by the majority of the members and officers with printed accurate
to the organization.

ATICLE XI

CLASSWORK

Section 1.

The AGRITECH SOCIETY shall call a class work as the need arises.

Section 2.

Absence during the classwork by the ARITECH SOCIETY shall be paid not, but
instead by a double make up classwork during signing of clearance.
