 4. GAME FAMILY ROUTE NETWORK

• Primary and secondary routes identified to various venues.

• Delhi Police will provide dedicated lanes/clear passage on all identified routes during games
period.

• Segregation by earmarking roads by distinctive color.

• ‘GAMES LANE’ to be written on the route.

• Use of bollards, traffic cones, barricades etc. wherever needed.

• Intervention bases every 2 Kms. at prominent intersections.

 7. ISSUANCE & DISTRIBUTION OF VAPPS

• All the vehicles used or provided by D2010 ( T1, T2, CGA cars, T3, T4 & Rate Card
Vehicles) will have a pre‐issued Vehicle Access & Parking Privileges (VAAP) card as per
the service levels and entitlements.

• The request for VAPP for other vehicle categories will be processed and issued prior to
the start of the games.

• The VAAP office will be located near the Uniform and Accreditation Centre from where
the allocated VAAP can be collected

• A provision has also been made for issuance of on‐the‐spot VAAP subject to
entitlement, security and availability.
 8. RATE CARD VEHICLES

• Allocation of vehicles to CGAs, Media & Broadcasters over and above their entitlements
by paying the pre determined rates.

• Rate card vehicle service includes the provision of cars as well as venue specific parking
privileges.

• The rates for availing the rate card vehicles have been included in the rate card manual.
• Procedure for allotment is similar as for other items in the rate card.

The rates for car rental for different types of cars is also included in the rate card manual.
