The Work Immersion Teacher and the Partner Industry shall convene along with the SHS Focal Person for a
dialogue regarding the 320-hour work immersion program. In the Conference, both parties shall stipulate the
scope of work the learners shall undertake during the students’ immersion.

MOA SIGNING
2nd Week of October Representative from the School and the Partner Industry Partner Industry

3rd Week of October Discussion of the learning competencies with the Partner Industry
Immersion Supervisor.
TEACHERS’ IMMERSION ORIENTATION
4th Week of October Work Immersion Teachers undergo orientation on the Partner Industry
procedures of the identified partner industries.
PRE-IMMERSION (10 Hours)
1st and 2nd week of Understanding work immersion by discussing expected School
November behavior, work immersion rules and regulations, terms
and conditions of the Memorandum of Agreement.

Appreciating the importance of credentials by writing a School/Barangay/
resume, filling out application forms, visiting the Municipal Hall/
concerned offices where the following could be secured: Health Office
barangay clearance, police clearance, mayor’s clearance,
medical certificate; Job interview skills training.
Discussion of Portfolio (Portfolio content, When to School
Update Content, Portfolio Packaging, Portfolio
Presentation at the end of Work Immersion)
IMMERSION PROPER (300 Hours)
3rd week of November Appreciating management processes by observing, Partner Industry
identifying and describing the nature of the business,
description of the products/services, target clientele,
organizational structure, and company rules and
regulations.
Appreciating business processes by observing and
participating in Safety/ Production/ Maintenance/ Quality
Control/ Quality Assurance/ Customer Satisfaction/
Housekeeping/ Hygiene and others
4th week of November to Applying Skills learned and proper values acquired in
1st week of January 2018 school

POST-IMMERSION (10 Hours)


2nd week of January Evaluating the work immersion experience by presenting School
2018 a portfolio with weekly diary entries, comparing and
contrasting school and work application of skill,
knowledge, and attitudes, writing an updated resume, and
reflecting on their Work Immersion experiences
