Each placement I made sure I went on the school’s website and downloaded and
read through all their documents about policies, values and site information before
entering my placement.

The school held a whole school STEM day and expo which was led by the students and

teachers’ students from the upper primary campus.
During this special event special visitors and grandparents were also invited to join the
students on this day. In my class 7 of the student’s special visitors came to see them.
Throughout the day I was able to interact with grandparents and special visitors and
talk to them about the students learning and progress.

A couple of weeks later I was again able to interact and communicate with the
grandparents, parents and caregivers during the whole school Sports Day event.
