CHAPTER I
INTRODUCTION
Nowadays library system is very important in the library, because it helps students to
make borrowing books easier and help the librarian to manage the students and the books
properly by recording their transactions. The Library System helps the library to lessen or avoid
losing of books. This makes the students or the borrowers of books responsible to return the
books on exact time and date. This Library System we made is easy to use and less time, if you
borrow it’s easy to record and easy because you don’t need to find it. Now, in our society all
over the world technology is the most important advancement, a necessity in bringing about
progress as we move along in this computerized world. These changes in effect make man’s life
easier and more convenient. The relationship between the library and computer contributes to the
way man learns and communicates. It east in this world to strive for changes and since library is
no different from any firm and institution, considering the use of computer to perform a given
task will be efficient. Librarians have the responsibility not only to know about the ways in
which libraries will be managed using techniques of computerized can bring to library services in
the near future. Traditionally, library system systems are implemented manually. Forms are
given to librarian and they fill them of using pens. Afterwards, the school administrators process
them manually and complied on large bulky file cabinet. Indeed, manual library system is very

Library system project offer many flexible and convenient features, allowing librarians
and library users to maximize time and efficiency. Library regarded as the brain off many
institute. Library system gives all detailed information about students, staff and books. It will
track on how many books are available in the library and books issued to the students.

hardware and software which allowed the connection of major circulation tasks., including

The number of male students is twenty-five (25) and the number of female
students is twenty-five (25). The researcher focused only to the selected fifty (50) students of
both male and female students of Asian College, Quezon City
To the Students:
This study aims to help students in Asian College to lessen the time finding
the books that they need and simplified the transactions by means of not using library
card anymore.
To the Parents/Guardian:
