My Dream Robot

Rules and Regulation

1. Contestants are to use at least 3(three) basic recycling materials which are:
a. Plastic bottles
b. Paper based used boxes
c. Aluminum cans

2. The measurements are as stated below


Height

2 Feet Width 1 Feet

3. Contestants are requested to explain the function of the designed robot within the time
frame which is 3 minutes. The presentation must be conducted in English.
4. The robot is only a replica and does not have to be a moveable one.
5. The time frame given for the completion of the robot is 1 hour. The time keeper will
blow the whistle 10 minutes before the time frame ends and the final whistle will be
blown once the time is over.
6. The materials must be brought from the respective schools. The contestants are strictly
forbidden to collect materials from the surroundings of the competition venue.
7. It is a group contest. Each group must consist of 10 pupils accompanied by two teachers.
8. Teachers are not allowed to physically guide the contestants. However, they are only
allowed to give verbal instructions.

9. Marks will be awarded based on these criteria:


 Creativity
 Presentation
 Measurement
 Materials

10. The judge’s decision is final.

9.45 a.m. Briefing by Madam Parameswary on ‘Reduce, Reuse and Recycle’

Briefing by Mr. Ramulu Naidu regarding the rules and regulation of the
competition. (My Dream Robot).

10.00 a.m. The competition begins.

11.00 a.m. The competition ends.

11.00 a.m. A brief presentation by Mr. Mohd. Adzrul on ‘Virtual Learning’.

11.30 a.m. The signing of M.O.U by the respected schools.

Closing ceremony.

Prize giving ceremony.

12.00 noon Lunch

12.30 Exchanging of souvenirs between the pupils of all the participating schools.
