1. Explain why the undertaking is required to go through the Canadian EA?


Answer:
a. The project may use a small amount of federal property in the vicinity of Brock Road and
Highway 7 under the jurisdiction of Transport Canada.
b. The project may alter, disrupt, or destruct fish habitat and will require a permit from Dept.
of Fisheries and Oceans under the Fisheries Act.

 In accordance with the requirements of the Act, the Canadian Environmental Assessment
