Types of Measurement Applications:
Application of any measurement can usually be put into one
of these categories:

1. Monitoring of Processes and Operations Measure and

display: keep track of some quantity or condition -
Thermometers, barometers, radars simply indicate weather
condition No control action is taken ordinarily Homely
example: Water/electric meter keeps track of water/electricity
used

2. Control of Processes and Operations Most important

applications Refers to automatic control and has been the
topic of discussion so far

RT010 TRINING SYSTEM: LEVEL CONTROL:

Measurement application in this process contain:

A)Pressure hose for liquid level control.

Level Control Applications. The control of liquid levels, for
example in a process tank, is an important function. ... Many

RT020 TRINING SYSTEM: FLOW CONTROL:

a)Turbine wheel flow sensor.

sensor is Control application,and Type measurement
application for Rotameter is Monitoring application,

Flow meters are the equipment for the accurate

measurement of the flow rate of the fluid passing
through a pipe or an open space. The measurement can
be made either on the basis of the mass flow rate or the
volumetric flow rate. The rate of flow can be altered and
distributed with the help of particular equipment called
 the flow control valve sensors. It provides accurate and
programmable information, which helps in the execution
of the distribution. Various industries have an abundant
option of the control valve sensors to choose from. On
the basis of the application and the purpose, the type of
the sensors are chosen, which gives errorless
productivity.

Measurement application in this process contain:

for manometer is Monitoring application,

Pressure control is a mode of mechanical ventilation

alone and a variable within other modes of mechanical
ventilation. Pressure control is used to regulate
pressures applied during mechanical ventilation. Air
delivered into the patients lungs (breaths) are currently
regulated by Volume Control or Pressure Control. In
pressure controlled breaths a tidal volume achieved is
 based on how much volume can be delivered before the
pressure control limit is reached.[

Viscosity measurement:

Viscosity is an important property of fluids which describes a

liquids resistance to flow and is related to the internal friction
within the fluid. The most common type of flow behavior is
shear flow where layers of fluid move relative to each
another in response to a shearing force. This external force
takes the form of a shear stress which is defined as the force
acting over a unit area of fluid and results in a velocity
gradient across the thickness of sample termed the shear
rate
