The pop music is listened to all the Word, a type of music, usually played on electronic

instruments, that is popular with many people because it consists of short songs with a strong
beat and simple tunes that are easy to remember. Pop music is often simply called pop.

They have a good rhythm, a catchy melody, and are easy to remember and sing along to. They
usually have a chorus that's repeated several times and two or more verses. Most pop songs
are between two and five minutes long, and the lyrics are usually about the joys and problems
of love and relationships.

Pop music was born with rock music in 1955

number-one on the Australian pop chart, spending eight weeks at the top spot.

1974: Michael Jackson introduces "The Robot“.

• In 1974, during a performance on "Soul Train," Jackson introduced a dance called the robot.
• 1983: Michael Jackson popularizes the moonwalk. The moonwalk or back slide is a dance
technique that presents the illusion that the dancer is stepping forward while actually moving
backward.

and Culture Club. The late 1980s saw the rise of the Swedish pop duo Roxette.

Christina Aguilera, Jessica Simpson, Mandy Moore, Robyn, and Willa Ford.
