KADER ABILITY IN IMPLEMENTING THE DEEP BREATHING EXERCISE

BEFORE AND AFTER TRAINING IN THE VILLAGE KALI CUPAK

LOR WORK AREA HEALTH KALIBAGOR

ABSTRAK

Background: The role of kaders plays an important role in bridging communities posyandu
particular target group. A wide range of government information more easily conveyed to the
public through the kaders, kaders more responsive and have knowledge of above-average
health of the target group posyandu. In order to improve the skills of a kader, one of them by
increasing knowledge and skills of kaders. Increased knowledge and skills is one of them
carried out by the education and training of kaders. It is intended to improve the quality of
kaders in outreach to participants Posyandu and society in the region of Posyandu.

Objective: To determine the ability of kaders in carrying Deep Breathing Exercise before and
after training in Kali Cupak Lor village Puskesmas Kalibagor.

Methods: The study design used in this study is one group pretest posttest design. The
population in this research totaling 29 people who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria
for a sample of 20 respondents to the sampling technique total sampling. Instruments used
questionnaires and observation sheets about Deep Breathing Exercise.

Results: The results showed that most of the kaders were in the age category of 40-50 years
as many as 11 kaders (50%), mostly high school education last / SMEA as many as 12 kaders
(60%), the majority of kaders have jobs as much as 11 kaders (55 %), the old kader, most
kaders have become kaders between 1-5 years as many as seven kaders (35%), training others
who've followed most of the kaders do not follow other training kader as many as 12 (60%),
and knowledge of early Deep Breathing Exercise most of the kaders do not know as much as
18 kaders (90%), knowledge kader of Deep Breathing Exercise before training in conditions
less knowledge of 18 kaders (90%), are known to skilled kaders in performing Deep
Breathing Exercise before training distributed less that 19 kaders (95% ), knowledge about
the Deep Breathing Exercise after kader training in good condition by 17 kaders of
knowledge (75%), skilled kaders in performing Deep Breathing Exercisesetelah well
distributed training kaders ie 18 (90%).

Conclusion: The results of this study concluded there are differences in knowledge kader of
Deep Breathing Exercisesebelum and after training were analyzed using t-test result p =
0.0001 <α = 0.05, which means that there are differences in knowledge kader about Deep
Breathing Exercise before and after training with 0,700 ± mean difference 0,470. There is
difference kader skill in performing Deep Breathing Exercise before and after training were
analyzed using t-test result p = 0.0001 <α = 0.05, which means that there are differences in
the skills of kaders in performing Deep Breathing Exercise before and after training with a
mean difference 0.800 ± 0.410. There is the influence of the level of knowledge after training
on skill level kaders in carrying Deep Breathing Exercise shows that 17 kaders
knowledgeable good with good skills, 2 kader of knowledgeable less with less skill. Chi-
square test showed p value of 0.0001, meaning that there is influence the level of knowledge
with skills kaders.
