Dissemination and Use of Projects'

Results
1 You are requested to make plans for the dissemination of your
project results. Please provide answers to the questions below. To
whom will you disseminate the project results inside and outside
your organisation? Please define in particular your target
audience(s) at local/regional/national/EU level and motivate your
choice.
The overall objective of our dissemination activities is to identify and reach stakeholders, including end
users and the public, in order to raise their awareness regarding the aims and results of our project.
Our dissemination strategy identifies different target audience and distinguishes between groups of
stakeholders according to their different interests and motives.

a) Since the main goal of the project is to enhance entrepreneurial proactivity, the main target
audiences of our dissemination activities are direct potential users of developed modules, whom we
divided into three groups:

- The first group is consisted of people who work in SME sector (both employers and employees) on
the local and regional level, especially those who completed only secondary schools, and who lack key
entrepreneurial competences and the entrepreneurial mindset.

- The second group is consisted of people who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs and who
want to be self-employed. The focus will be placed on young unemployed persons (especially women)
since these are the groups which are facing major difficulties on the labor market.

- The third group is consisted of all those interested in learning about the practical features of
entrepreneurship and the areas covered by the developed modules. The emphasis will be on the
persons who work in a public or non-profit sector and who want to implement and promote the
entrepreneurial mindset and culture within their area of work.

b) The next target audience is entrepreneurs. The main goal is to inform them about the programme
and to engage them in a dialogue about the content of curriculum. Furthermore, we wish to motivate
them to raise awareness among their employees about the need for gaining key entrepreneurial skills
and to encourage them to participate in our workshops. Hence, we will also use entrepreneurs as
mediators in reaching primary target groups (end users of the project).

c) In order to reach above mentioned groups, beside our dissemination activities described below, we
will use help of (Croatian) Employment Service as a mediator in reaching them. As an institution which
is in constant contact with both employers and employees (unemployed), it can make a huge
contribution in sharing a word about the project and raising awareness about its aims.

d) Furthermore, our dissemination activities will be addressed to different organisations which deal
with individual adult learners on the national and EU level (universities, colleges, training
organizations) who could also be interested in the results, learning outcomes and findings of the
project. Since the main starting point of this project is the need for greater alignment of the skills
acquired at schools with those needed on the labor market, then we assume that two main intellectual
outputs of this project should be of a great interest for these institutions. Finally, our goal is to establish
important links with organizations which carry out similar or related research or analysis, in order to
open the doors for future cooperation.

e) Finally, the projects’ goals, activities and results will be disseminated to policy makers on national
and EU level. Particularly, our plan is to inform and engage people from Ministry of Labour and Pension
System (MLPS), Ministry of Science, Education and Sport (MSES), Ministry of Social Policy and Youth
(MSPY), Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts (MEC) in all 6 participating countries. In this way we
will try to make an impact on creation of future policy measures.

f) Above mentioned groups are primary stakeholders of our project, and our dissemination activities
are predominantly directed to them. However, the point is to spread the word about the project aims,
successes and outcomes as far as possible and building awareness among general public.

g) For that reason, in our dissemination activities we will also address mass media, particularly printed
media and regional TV and radio stations. The main idea is to encourage the media to raise awareness
and understanding of the need for LLL and entrepreneurial proactivity, and to stimulate/prompt policy
makers to support and implement projects recommendations.

2 Who will be responsible for the dissemination activities within your

partnership and which specific expertise do they have in this area?
What resources will you make available to allow for the proper
implementation of your dissemination plans?

a) UAS Baltazar will be responsible for dissemination activities within consortium. Dissemination
coordinator will be Stjepan Lacković responsible for creation of the dissemination plan. He will be
monitoring, coordinating, updating and reporting on dissemination activities during the course of
the project. He will be supported by two colleagues working on PR and marketing of University of
Applied Sciences Baltazar Zaprešić (UASBZ) who will link project dissemination activities to the
promotion activities of the University (through the Web site of the University).

- UAS Baltazar is responsible for establishment and maintenance of the project Web site and an
open source repository.

- Krešimir Jurina will provide support for Web technologies and open source.

- Alumni club of the University is responsible for dissemination of project activities and results
among former students (246 members) through their Facebook site and e-mail.

b) The University is also responsible for organization of two multiplier events (first one will be
organized in Zagreb on 02.12.2016. and the second one again in Zagreb on 15.07.2018.)

c) The role of the participating organizations or partners on the project will be appropriate to the
level of their activity.

- Each participating organization is obliged to send to dissemination coordinator reports on

dissemination activities carried out every 3 months. Furthermore, they will provide content for
Project Web Site, such as press clipping, reports about interviews on TV and radio, and other
content relevant for the project.

- Each participating organization should use regular communication channels of their institutions
for the purposes of project dissemination.

- Furthermore, each international partner should use their existing institutional networks for
dissemination purposes (e.g. ERASMUS bilateral agreements, national and international strategic
partnerships with Western Balkans, Eastern partnership countries and Russian Federation).

- The Croatian Employers’ Association will provide a mailing list with 6.000 members. They will
also be responsible for disseminating project results to Employers’ Associations in Poland,
Hungary, Slovakia, Estonia and Slovenia.

- Trade and Crafts Association Zapresic will provide contacts to 1.164 local tradesman.

- Communication materials will be prepared in English, Croatian, Hungarian, Polish, Slovakian,

Estonian and Slovenian language.

3 What kind of dissemination activities do you intend to carry out

and through which channels?
Regarding our dissemination and communication, we have developed differentiated and targeted
communication tactics and channels for different groups of stakeholders.

- The first step is to establish and maintain the project’s Web site, through which all our dissemination
activities will be channelized. Web site will provide basic information about the project, partners and
Erasmus + Programme. The Web site will include the logo of the project and the official logo and
graphic identity of the Erasmus+ Programme, as well as notification about the support received from
the EU. In designing the structure and contents we will follow good practice guidelines provided by EC
(e.g. EU Project Websites – Best Practice Guidelines). We will make the general understanding video
of the project (5 min) and PreZi presentation of the project. The site shall also interlink to Facebook
and Twitter. Dissemination through our web site is directed to widest possible audience.

- The next step is to create mailing list of potential participants, employers, academic community and
public officials. We plan to create and send newsletters in order to inform these groups about the most
important project activities, i.e. about the project results and progress. At the moment, we estimate
that we will create 6 newsletters, two per year but this number could vary.

- Our aim is also to involve or integrate target groups into dissemination activities. For that purpose
we will use social networks (Twitter and alumni Facebook page). The goal is to form a virtual society
by creating “Forums” which will serve as discussion platforms enabling exchange of experiences,
constructive criticism and insights about the project’s results and recommendations.

- Furthermore, we will communicate the learning outcomes reached by participants in project activities
by using podcasts. We plan to record interviews with three participants (one from each primary target
group) who will share with others what they will gain from taking part in project activities. The stress
will be on their expectations before the beginning of the project, and experiences and impressions
after it ends. The result of these interviews will be three short videos (max 1 min) which will be
uploaded on Vimeo and projects Web site. This part of dissemination is directed to potential end users
of the project.
- We will also open a blog which will be devoted to academic community and educational practitioners.
The participants in the project from our and partners’ institutions will be invited/obliged to write a
blog about their experiences, insights, problems, and good practices they noticed while participating
in the project. This part of dissemination is directed to academic community.

- We will also prepare scientific articles and presentations for at least two international scientific
conferences. The goal is to inform academic audience about the objectives of our project, and to use
these events as opportunities to interact with academic stakeholders, and to receive feedback on our
results. Furthermore, the goal is to use these events in order to establish contacts with other similar
projects and studies, i.e. to establish networks that will outlive the project and will serve as a ground
for possible future cooperation.

- Although in dissemination activities we will mainly rely on digital media, we are aware of the fact that
not all of our target audience belong to digital natives or millenials. Hence, we will design and print
flyers with the most important information about the project, which will be also distributed in the
offices of Employment Services and business associations locally, regionaly and nationaly in all 6
countries.

- We will organize two multiplier events which are related to and will follow immediately after the
publication of our two intellectual outputs. The aim of these events is to enable face-to-face
communication (discussion and interviews) with stakeholders and to facilitate collaboration among
different groups of stakeholders. Furthermore, we see these meetings as opportunities to get
information and recommendations based on realistic stakeholder needs and interests. In order to
support these events, we will produce following communication tools: Posters and Roll Ups.

- Finally, our intention is to disseminate information about the project and project’s results to the
widest possible audience. For that purpose, we will create Banners and Stickers. Furthermore we will
issue press releases and professional articles for dissemination to the media (newspapers, business
magazines). We will also promote project by giving interviews and participating in TV and radio
programmes, thus encouraging journalists and public at large to approach for consultancy beyond the
project ends.

4 Erasmus+ has an open access requirement for all materials developed through its
projects. If your project is producing intellectual outputs/ tangible deliverables, please
describe how you intend to ensure free access for the public to a digital form of this
material. If you intend to put any limitation on the use of the open licence, please specify
the reasons, extent and nature of this limitation.

All the teaching/learning materials developed as intellectual output 2 will be published on the
Learning Management System platform Moodle. An open source, e-learning platform will provide all
the materials and instructions with open access (OER). For the purposes of this objective we have
planned purchase of a new server with technical conditions to support download and access to wide
range of stakeholders. We expect at least 100 download from each partner countries (600) and even
more.
5 How will you ensure that the project's results will remain available and will be used by
others?
We will continue to support development of this system after the project ends. LMS system will have
an open Forum for other users to reflect on, discuss its performance and suggest topics for future
improvement. Availability of project results beyond the project lifetime is explained in depth in the
section H.3.

6 If relevant, please provide any other information you consider appropriate to give a full
understanding of your dissemination plan and its expected impact (e.g. how you have
identified which results are most relevant to disseminate; how you will ensure the
involvement of all partners; how you see synergies with other stakeholders, etc.)

Our communication plan is structured in a way that we prepared different communication strategies
and communication tools to different target groups. As project will evolve and project deliverables
will become available or events undertaken, we will take into account to which groups these
deliverables or events are related, and will disseminate information about them to these particular
groups. What will be disseminated are general information about the project, project deliverables
and outcomes, and content produced by consortium which doesn’t belong directly to project’s
outcomes, but it is related to project.

The selection of specific communication tools that we will use in our dissemination activities is based
on their effectiveness (capable of eliciting significant response) and appropriateness to specific target
audiences. Moreover, our main criterion is whether these tools are economical (cost effective),
targetable and their results measurable. Furthermore, one of the main goals of our dissemination
strategy is to engage stakeholders throughout the whole duration of the project in order to ensure
that the results of the project are acceptable, applicable and appropriate to them, especially to end
users. We believe that only through stakeholders’ engagement we could create an impact that will
last beyond the completion of the project. In selection of communication tools, we specifically
choose those which enable stakeholders to provide feedback on the project’s deliverables. Finally, in
order to engage stakeholders and wider audience, our plan is to create informative, educational and
entertaining content (general understanding video, Prezi presentation, podcasts and blogs) which is
shareable online (Facebook, Twitter) and which will motivate stakeholders to become advocates of
the project.

The dissemination activities will be carried out throughout the whole lifetime of the project.
Dissemination activities will be more intense right before and right after the key project’s events
(multiplier events and working meetings) and deliverables (research results and curriculum). Since
dissemination plan is a living document that evolves together with the project, it is possible that it
will be changing according to the project’s needs.
