modern times, Israel has supported some neo-nazi parties in Israel:
Eastern Europe, and even armed pro-Maidan Ukrainian fascist
paramilitaries [9]. In both cases, Israel was following direction from
the US, which used Israel as a proxy to distance themselves from Genocidal Proxy
the conflicts. Declassified documents revealed that the US gave
Israel low-interest loans so they could in turn loan arms to
governments including the military dictatorship of Guatemala, which
killed hundreds of thousands of people [8]. Israel maintains relations
of US Empire
with the far-right repressive Colombian government, as the second
biggest arms supplier to the country, outdone only by the US [10].

resulting in pushback from Palestinian Arab Nationalist groups and
Palestinian Muslim groups. When Palestinians engaged in a general
strike to cripple the colonial economy, over 5,000 of them were
murdered [1]. In 1948 the British Mandate for Palestine ended, and
the UN created a partition plan, breaking Palestine in two: Palestine
and Israel. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians continued to flee
as their land was seized, and others took up arms to protect their
homeland [1]. With heavy support from the US, Israel defeated a
number of Arab nations in the Six-Day War in 1967, which began
when Israel carried out surprise attacks on Egypt. This expanded
the area of Israeli settlements, and created even more refugees. In
2002 Israel began using another tactic to expand settlements. They
began building a wall for ‘protection’, but instead of building it on the
pre-established border, they put the wall well into internationally
recognized Palestinian territory, claiming more land [1].
Arms Deals and Collaboration
In 2016 President Obama signed a military aid deal where the US
provides 3.8 billion dollars each year for the next ten years. This
was a significant increase from the previous 3.1 billion dollars per
year, and was the “single largest pledge of bilateral military
assistance in US history” [3]. As of 2016, 86.7 percent of Israel’s
arms imports came from the US, with an import value of 526 million
dollars [4]. The US does not support Israel because of Israeli
lobbies, or out of sympathy for the Israeli people. The US supports
Israel because they’re a useful proxy and ally for US imperialist
conquest in the Middle East, Africa, and even Latin America [5].
Claims that Israel controls the US are absurd, the reality is closer to
the opposite.
Apartheid
Much like the US, Israel publicly decried the apartheid South African
government, but supported them militarily in secret. Israel provided
crucial assistance in the development of nuclear weapons by the
Apartheid government, and sent officers to assist apartheid forces in
Angola [6]. According to Alon Liel, an Israeli ambassador to the
apartheid state “we created the South African arms industry” [6].
Some have drawn comparisons between the apartheid system in
South Africa and the modern situation in Israel. Both are
settler-colonialist states which have driven out much of the native
populations, and demoted the rest to second-class citizens. Israel is
also working to expel African immigrants fleeing repression in
Eritrea and other countries [6]. Some of these immigrants are
Jewish, showing that this is about race, not just religion. A UN
committee found that Israel did meet the definition of an apartheid
state in 2017, as Palestinians “experience discrimination in access
to education, health care, employment, residency and building
rights,” and are tried in a separate court system [7]
Ukraine and Latin America
The middle east isn’t the only area where Israel has served as a
military proxy for the United States. The right wing militias and
dictatorships in Latin America enjoyed military and intelligence
support from Israel. Many of these governments also had an influx
of Nazi military officers and intelligence agents after World War II,
