LALA: WHAT WE DO
At Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA) creates international and socioeconomically diverse
cohorts of the most promising graduating high school students who have demonstrated an
unshakeable commitment to social change. LALA is launching leadership boot camps throughout Latin
America to create local hubs of social impact and find values-aligned youth. In the near future, LALA
will open an eighteen-month program that blends social impact, entrepreneurial leadership, a liberal
arts education, and social and emotional learning. The program connects participants to mentors,
resources, and opportunities. We at LALA, envision a diverse continental ecosystem that collaborates
across differences and brings shared prosperity to Latin America.

OUR TEACHER LEADERSHIP BOOTCAMP, BRAZIL 

Teacher Leadership Bootcamp is a week-long expeditionary teacher-training intervention that explores Latin
America’s complex global challenges and examines Latin American development through the foundational
lens of Integral
               Human
              Development.
                          Our reflective approach places emphasis on self-discovery and
launches a teachers’ personal and professional journey as they attempt to build foundational skills in             
Educational
                       Psychology,
                      International
                          Development,
                           Social
           Entrepreneurship,
                                 Negotiations, 
                  
                               Science,
Implementation                Community
                     Organising,
                      and
        Leadership
                     Studies
            , using strategies from
design thinking, systems thinking and social and emotional learning. We launch in January, 2019.
