5” piece of 1/4” wide elastic
Matching or contrasting thread

for your trendy, stylish doll. Whether she’s
bicycling in France or shopping in NYC, she
will look fantastic out and about.

The Moto Pants feature ‘moto’ patches on the

knees with topstitching and back welt pockets.
They have a flat front waistband and elastic
waist back. Front slant pockets provide a
sleek, finished look.

Suggested fabrics include soft twill, denim,

mid-weight cottons or even faux leather. As
a bonus we have included a basic back leg
piece if you want to switch it up and create
your own style of pants.

Have fun creating and sewing the Moto Pant!

Cutting Instructions

Cut out or trace the pattern pieces provided. The Moto pant has a two piece back. (We have also
included a single piece Back without pockets if desired.) Due to the length of the Back pattern pieces,
it will be necessary to tape the bottom leg sections to the correct upper leg along the blue dotted lines.
Do not cut the Knee Patch pieces from the fabric until after you have topstitched on the 10” x 3 1/2”
piece. The patches will then be cut from this piece. Fold the fabric in half along lengthwise grain for
double thickness. Place pieces on fabric and pin, following grainlines indicated on pattern. Cut out all
of the pieces. Make markings on Welt Pocket piece, Center Back leg piece and Side Back leg piece
for welt pocket postition.
