The Republic of Ecuador hereby advises that the first revision (1R) of Technical Regulation (RTE)
No. 173 "Hand-held and transportable electric saws" of the Ecuadorian Standardization Institute
(INEN), notified in document G/TBT/N/ECU/162/Add.1 of 28 May 2014, has been issued pursuant
to Resolution No. 16 254 of 27 June 2016 of the Under-Secretariat for the Productivity Quality
System of the Ministry of Industry and Productivity, published in Official Journal No. 815 of
9 August 2016.
