3. Hazards identification
Consideration of the composition of this product indicates that it does not present a
significant health hazard to users.
High exposures by inhalation may product anaesthetic effects.

4. First-aid measures
Inhalation: Remove patient from exposure, keep warm and at rest.
Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.
Skin contact: Wash immediately with water followed by soap and water.
Eye contact: Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart, for
at least 10 minutes.
Ingestion: Provided the patient is conscious, wash out mouth with water and gives
200-300 ml (half a pint) of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting.
Obtain medical attention if ill effects occur.

Further Medical Treatment


Symptomatic treatment and supportive therapy as indicated.
Adrenaline and similar sympathomimetic drugs should be avoided following exposure as
cardiac arrhythmia may result with possible subsequent cardiac arrest.

5. Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Dry powder, foam, and carbon dioxide. Water


spray should be used to cool containers.

Fire Fighting Protective Equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus and full


protective clothing must be worn in fire
conditions.

6. Accidental release measures

Ensure suitable personal protection (including respiratory protection) during removal of


spillage.
Ventilate area. Eliminate sources of ignition. Absorb spillage onto sand, earth or any
suitable absorbent material. Transfer to a container for disposal. Wash the spillage area
clean with water and detergent. Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.

7. Handling and storage


7.1 Handling

When opening, the temperature of the container should be below 30°C. care should be
taken to release any internal pressure slowly.
Take precautionary measures against static discharges.

7.2 Storage

Keep away from direct sunlight.


This material is hygroscopic. Avoid ingress of moisture by keeping containers properly
sealed when not in use.
Storage Temperature: Keep at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

Wear suitable gloves and eye/face protection. Neoprene or PVA is recommended. In


case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment.
