implement a process (within the defined scope of this effort) that

The system shall provide the ability to generate a report for a specific compound,
which the business refers to as a “snapshot”. Snapshots reflect a point in time view of
the data from the BCL (Biopharmaceutical Compound Library) database. Each
snapshot is based on a predefined template that represents the desired report format.
Authorized Users shall be allowed to generate a snapshot and print a snapshot.
Snapshots are not persistent in the BCL database and only exist as temporary objects.
It has the following 3 modules: 1.General Compound Information 2. Phy /Chem.
Properties 3. ADME. The data input is from these three .Net applications. Depending
upon the data from the .Net applications we build the standard reports in Business
Objects.

BCL Information: BCL lets you select compounds matching your criteria and
facilitates analysis by allowing you to:
BCL pulls together critical biopharmaceutics information to help GSK scientists:
Export the data associated with each compound to either Excel or Spot fire
(visualization tool), where you can do further analysis.
Identify relationships that will permit the generation of more sophisticated predictive
models.
Learn from past compounds and apply that knowledge to current compounds to
ensure that GSK meets its goal of "getting valuable medicines to patients as soon as
possible." View a snapshot of each compound, or set of commonly used data.

@where) to overcome the problems with database when integrating with BO.

providers, Union, Intersection, minus and Master/Detail, cross tab, Charts. All
Web Report (WEB DESIGNER) Deploy the Web-I to integrate with the existing
Portal for BCL .NET Application.
 The project under consideration is the Design and implementation of the Data
management / Decision support Environment for GSK in order to provide:

Marketing Measurement and Management (M3) mainly related to Cisco’s IT


marketing division. M3 has major subject areas each of which provides a strong
platform for DSS. Bookings is one of the major subject area, which gives booking

information of various network components sold across different theaters
(Geographical Areas) to different customers through different parties. The Business
Indicator section provides key performance indicators for Cisco. Booking Overview is
derived from Booking Indicators on Weekly basis at theater granularity level 1, with
projected data for future weeks till the end of the quarter. Business Indicators/
Bookings Overview Dashboard are meant for reporting and analyzing the Bookings by
Different dimensions. The data model is perfect star schema with a lowest level of
granularity of Week, Theater level 1, Product family, External Tech, customer
market Segment, Vertical market segment. All the data elements in the data mart
tables will be populated from ERBI (EDW) source system on scheduled basis.
