1st Stage Turbine Casing

The 1st stage turbine casing contains the 1st stage shrouds which prevent the casing shell from
coming in contact with the hot gases and bear the honey-comb seals which form a seal
barrier, against hot gases escaping, with the 1st stage turbine bucket tip teeth. The 1st stage
shrouds support also the 1st stage nozzles support ring on the front side and the 2nd stage
nozzles on the rear side.

2nd Stage Turbine Casing

The 2nd stage turbine casing contains the 2nd stage shrouds which prevent the casing

housing which is assembled independently of the turbine stator
