Overall aim and context of the lesson

The lesson it was about the five senses and I read for the students a story then we did the
activities.

The students are learning the five senses and what are our five senses by story and activities.

Who is the lesson for? Teaching the students, the five senses and what are they.
Where did the lesson take place? it’s an English lesson.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? learning the students the five senses and they have five
senses and each sense have special job for example nose for smell and ears to listen.
What did the students do? The students listen well to the story and answered the questions well as a first
lesson they take about the five senses.

 Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
The students enjoying the story time and they like the story telling more than if it was a normal
lesson.
 How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
The student’s level wasn’t too high and the story was perfect for their learning level it was easy to
follow and the students interact while I was telling them the story.
 How well did you engage the students?
the students like the story and they ask me again to read it for them but their wasn’t enough time
so we move to the activities, I did with them 4 activities and they like the plate activity the most.

The lesson was understandable and the students enjoy the lesson so much and the activates too.

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
I have to teach the students more and get to know the strategy of the classroom management for the
students for example using 123 eyes on me strategy of hands on top strategy more.
What are the implications for your professional practice?
The classroom management I need to work in it more.
