SWC Lesson Reflection (Completed after EVERY lesson taught)

Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing
It was a literacy lesson and they take a new sound /k/.

Describe (D):
Who is the lesson for? To teach the student new sound in literacy.
Where did the lesson take place? the lesson it was at the morning in Tuesday.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? teaching the students new words and new sound
What did the students do? The students was interesting about the letter and they like it but they was
confusing between c and k sounds.

Analyze (A):
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? The students like the way I teach them this
time and they enjoy it because it was so close to my MST’s technique.
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding? Some students understand and
know the sound well but some students was confusing between sound c and k
How well did you engage the students?
The students understand the lesson but I need to teach them another lesson to let all the students
understand well the lesson.

Explain the nature of the experience from the students’ perspective
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?

The lesson was understandable and the students enjoy the lesson so much and the activates too. Since it
was the first class of the sound some students weren’t engaging and answering but I tried with them to
assess them. Overall, the lesson succeeded but I need to teach them the same lesson again with different
activities

Transform (T):
How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future? I will let them to give me more
answers and let them to think more to give me words with the letter.
What are the implications for your professional practice?
The classroom management went well and my voice was too clear for the students.
