The student’s sort by colors and match the colors together, know the colors name.

Identify a lesson and what standards are you addressing
The students are learning the colors and how they can match the colors together for example sort pink
with pink shapes.

Describe (D):
Who is the lesson for? Teaching the students, the colors and how they can match each color.
Where did the lesson take place? it’s a math lesson plan, they can learn the shapes and call the shapes
with colors, the lesson though in the second period in the morning.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? teaching student the colors and matching the color
What did the students do? The students learning the colors and matching the colors together

 Why do you think the students responded the way that they did?
The students enjoy the monster activity and they like the colors of the monsters. The student
knows the colors in English so it was easy for them to match the colors.
 How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding?
The students are already known all colors. There is only one boy from low-level he didn’t
recognize the yellow but with reminding him the color he remembers it in the rest of the class.
 How well did you engage the students?
I engaged the students at the opining activity with a PowerPoint activity that they have to match
the red with red items and green with green items.

Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?

The lesson was understandable and the students enjoy the lesson so much and the activates too. Most of
the students know the colors and know how to recognize the colors.

How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future?
I have to teach the students more and get to know the strategy of the classroom management for the
students for example using 123 eyes on me strategy of hands on top strategy more.
What are the implications for your professional practice?
The classroom management I need to work in it more.
