SWC Lesson Reflection (Completed after EVERY lesson taught)

The lesson it was about the weather and the seasons.

Describe (D):
Who is the lesson for? The lesson was to teach the student the weather and the seasons in UAE.
Where did the lesson take place? the lesson it was a science and the students learn about the weather and
how they feel in each season and weather.
What were you trying to achieve in your lesson? I was achieving to teach the students well and let them
understand the lesson well.
What did the students do? The student was doing the activities well and they was already know about the
weather because they are kg2 and the are old enough to know the weather and my students most of them
in high and medium level and they are smart enough to understand the lesson.

Analyze (A):
Why do you think the students responded the way that they did? The students understand the lesson
because it is something the do it and do it everyday when they do the calendar at the morning routine.
How well did your teaching relate to the students’ prior understanding? The students were already known
the weather and they have feedback in it because they use it in their routine and in their regular life.
How well did you engage the students? The students understand and know the weather name and they
start to know the different between the weather and if they feel hot or cold.

Explain the nature of the experience from the students’ perspective
Did your lesson meet your teaching goals?

The students enjoy the class especially because the weather was cloudy and rainy they understand it more.
It was really fun when we went outside to teach the lesson.

Transform (T):
How might you enhance student learning of this lesson in the future? In the way I teach the students was
great and my MST like when we went out to teach the lesson and the students too they like the lesson
because of the weather was wonderful.
What are the implications for your professional practice?
The students when they use visual things they understand faster.
