A GENERAL NOTES:
4 The rates quoted shall include all works necessary for the
completion of the specified works, all preliminaries, profits and
overhead necessary for the completion of the work in accordance
with the specifications and drawings. In case if extension of time is ITEM
granted with valid grounds by the Architect, no claim for any
preliminaries or loss of expenses shall be allowed under this
Contract.
6 For variation work with no similar item in the Lump Sum Bills, the
contractor will be allowed to submit quotations should such
variation work arise and the QS shall assess and agree to or
negotiate on such quotations with the Contractor at the end of the
construction period. Unless otherwise the cumulative variation sum
exceeds 5% of the Contract sum, settlement will only be done at
the end of the contract period.
