PURPOSE – Why am I teaching this lesson? What do I want the students to know/to be able to do by the end of the

I will use a mixture of numbers and words, to make them identify the number 5, I want the
children to say, read, and write the number 5, the lesson will have a story to listen to about the
number 5, and it’s a new language for the students.

Children will sit in the carpet to begin the lesson with a story from a large blank sheet and a group of frogs, to define the
number 5.

 Sand Trays

Children will sit in a group and play with the sand trays, they have to show the teacher how to write number 5.

 worksheets

Children will sit in a group, each student will have a worksheet that contains a picture of flowers, so they have to put
their fingers in the painting and print so it will be like the leaves, they have to make 5 leaves.

 Tower Blocks

Each child should make a tower with 5 floors and design the way they want to.
