0 PRODUCT
Our business sells snack products based on the quality of good and interesting material.
Our Choco Jar consists of two flavors and plus a variety of topping flavors on it like
kitkat, m & m, milo nugget, oreo, and milky. Using rice and chocolate as the main
product. We also use jar-colored packaging as a jar to attract the attention of customers to
seeing more content clear as well as modern packaging that can be marketed everywhere
with its elegant design.

There are several reasons why we chose this business.The first reason is that we want to
compete with businesses out there and grow new entrepreneurial businesses to become
successful producers inside and outside the country. The second reason is that we can
generate more revenue by producing new products and acquiring more knowledge about
the business. Therefore, we are looking for customer requests with our new product
decisions to meet them in order to remain an option. Moreover, our product is free of charge
for delivery around Kolej Kediaman Bestari, Parit Raja and UTHM.
2.0 PROMOTION

Promotions refer to the entire set of activities, which communicate the product, brand or
service to the user. The idea is to make people aware, attract and induce to buy the product, in
preference over others. There are several types of promotions. Above the line promotions
include advertising, press releases, consumer promotions (schemes, discounts, contests),
while below the line include trade discounts, freebies, incentive trips, awards and so on. Sales
promotion is a part of the overall promotion effort.

From our business, we make our product promotion using coupon that allows qualified
customers like getting a stamp at least nine times to get a choco jar of their own choice. The
promotion is also aimed at attracting customer’s attention to the availability of free items if
they buy more than one that saves them instantly outlining the sale of our products without
them knowing it.

This promotion also has no expiration date that allows them to use it at any time. With this
coupon as well, it contains phone numbers for customers calling us to make it easier for us to
find us by just looking at interesting coupon and not having to save this no because it is included
in the coupon.
3.0 LOCATION OF BUSSINESS

The location of the business gives significant impact in the business and cost structure.
Inestablish company, problem connected with location a can arise in many ways. We choose
this location base on a few aspect that has been consider which are the infrastructure, the system
of transportation and the environment.

Our business is located at Bistari College Residential (KKB) and Main Campus UTHM
Parit Raja. The location is strategic because it’s a students study and also near to the town Parit
Raja. So, it coincide with our customer segment that prefered to kids, students and for all ages
customers. Plus, the location area are situated near and accessible to the customer. Thus, it will
decrease the cost for transportation. The selection is depending upon a few factors such as
strategic area and suitable to operate the business.

Other advantages of our location are:

a. The location is near with city centre (Batu Pahat)

b. Easy to customers to reach us which is cash on delivery (COD) if they want buy
our product
c. Our location is an attractive/hot spot not only for students but for citizen also.

4.0 PRICE

Price is a value that will purchase a finite quantity, weight, or other measure of a good
or service. As the consideration given in exchange for transfer of ownership, price forms that
essential basis of commercial transactions. It may be fixed by a contract, left to be determined
by an agreed upon formula at a future date, or discovered or negotiated during the course of
dealings between the parties involved.

In commerce, price is determined by what a buyer willing to pay, a seller is willing to accept,
and the competition is allowing to be charged. With product, promotions, and place of
marketing mix, it is one of the business variables over which organizations can exercise some
degree of control.

For our business, we get a cheaper price than a supplier of around RM234.00 for a box of
Choco Jar with a capacity of 60 jars. We market our products at a higher price to gain profit at
RM6.00 to RM7.00 depending on the desired flavor of the customer. Through our sales
proceeds we earned a net profit of RM156.00 from the sale. The profit we get is used for round
capital so that the products we sell will be able to meet customers' expectations so as not to
disconnect supply which will affect the loss of regular customers. In addition, we keep the price
so customers do not run away from comparing the prices of other products currently on the
market.
5.0 COMMITMENT

Commitment refers to the willing of the group members to contribute and cooperates in
producing the product. It is also can be in support such as modal and manage in executing the
roles given. The table below show the share based on the starting modal for our business and
roles of each members.

6.0 COMMUNICATION SKILL TO OTHER CUSTOMERS

Business communication differs greatly from regular communication. It refers to


communication that takes place in a work environment, and is meant to achieve the common
goal of getting the job done and doing it effectively.

This communication skill is best used in situations where establishing a personal connection is
important, such as conflict-resolution scenarios, team-building exercises and while selling a
product.
