● Student will record their research of different art movements and artists in their DW.

● Students will create G7 (1 finished artwork), G8 (2 finished artworks) portraits or self portraits which demonstrates clearly different time and style.

using when I was painting and weather if the painting was abstract
or not. I also demonstrated substantial awareness to the unit and
weather if what I was doing was for the unit and fit the unit or not.

of painting during the unit. I also showed the style or way of
painting in my drawing and you could kind of see the it is abstract
which was the goal.

Student justifications: I would give myself a 6 because I thought Teacher Justifications:

creatively during the unit. For my summative assessment, I chose
between my three chosen artistic style. To be honest, my art piece
that I painted was trial and error. I just kind of experimented with
different things and the different paints to make the painting seems
abstract. Everything I did was all on one go. I didn’t really have a
plan for what to do. I just kind of went along with the wind.
