HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE VISION OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS?
‘During the 40 years that | have been a resident, I have seen Fort Collins grow from a mid sized
town toa vibrant city where people want to live, work and play. This s due,in great part, to
the continued vision of our ety government to provide world-class municipalservices to its
residents. By adhering tothe seven outcomes ofthe Strategic Plan and the fhancial assistance
of taxes ike Keep Fort Collins Great and Building on Basics, our city leaders have been able to
articulate goals and build on ther plan. | believe the vision of Fort Collins isto continue to build
' community thats safe, clean and vibrant; to support excellent schools, prosperous
businesses and a diverse workforce; to create housing that Is affordable to allresidents; to
‘maintain the infrastructure and create open spaces to ensure the integrity of our boundaries;
to-assure that arts and culture flourish, The vision also includes the assurance that the
Underserved will be better served and that everyone will have access to adequate health
comvicos. Whon Fort Collins was awarded the Malcolm Raldrige National Quality Award in
2017, it provided the validation that our city leaders are, indeed, adhering totheir vision of
providing world-class municipal services. I want to be on City Council and be part of the
conversation about how we continue to build a world-class communityHOW WOULD YOUDESCRIBE THE VISION OF THE CITY OF FORT COLLINS?
