 GIS analyst: A Tri-dimensional approach to First Nations’ land use and occupancy in
Northwestern Ontario, winter 2014 to present (Project director: Dr. Frederico Oliveira,
Lakehead University).
I have been assisting Dr. Oliveira with the data management of all the geospatial data for this project
and in the creation of land use maps for the Lac Seul and Slate Falls First Nations communities since
2014. I also teach ArcMap to a member of the project. I have also conducted participatory mapping at
the Slate Falls community in August of 2018. I am creating a series of maps and story maps with the
data that have been collected in the field over the years to be published in the Spring of 2019.

Young University). Built a database in Access for a sample of the Wadi Mataha
stone tool collection. Organized and separated debitages pieces from tools and
cores for the entire lithic collection from the Wadi Mataha, a Natufian site in
Southern Jordan.
