However there are so many issues which were not

taken care during the construction and first and foremost part is safety rules are
not

1. The above video demonstrate incorrect practice of adding polymer. The

correct method shall be polymer should be placed in separate tank and taken
to the pile borehole through pipe. The properties such as viscosity, density, pH
and sand content of polymer should be checked both in the tank and in the pile
borehole. Polymer level should be maintained till the bottom of temporary
casing. The main use of polymer in the hole imparts stability by mainly applying
hydro-static pressure and passive resistance against failure of hole prevents
from collapse. Samples shall be taken at top , middle and bottom of borehole.

2. Once drilling reaches to the required pile bottom, the depth of pile should me
measured and once again before placing the cage the pile depth should be
measured in order to check the sedimentation of polymer. If the polymer doesn't
satisfy the required criteria the polymer should be recycled in the pile bore. If
the sedimentation is more then pile bottom should be cleaned.

3. Caliper logging test should be performed before placing the cage in order to
check the diameter of pile is uniform or check for cavities. check the depth once
again to verify the pile toe level.

4. Spacer should be installed in the cage so that concrete can flow and fill the
space between cage and hole which was missing and it will leads to a problem.
Skin friction will be reduced.

5. Dummy cages should to installed at the top after lowering of 3rd and final
cage. It should not hinged with a single rod. The weight of cage is more and the
single rod wont withstand the total cage wight if welding is not done properly.

6. Pile was backfilled with plastic bags and etc. not acceptable and there no
identification mark where the pile was casted.
