1. Login to Oracle Application Manager.

click on “Oracle Application Manager “ link

Enter sysadmin user/pwd.

Select “Workflow Manager” from Navigate to drop down box, and press Go.

To configure workflow mailer, the following concurrent managers needs to be enabled

and up and running.

1. Workflow Agent Listener Service

2. Workflow Mailer
3. Workflow Mailer Service

Click on cross icon beside “Notification Mailer “ in the above page, you will get the
following page.

Click on Edit button.

click Next

click Next.
Edit the following parameters:
Inbound Email Account section
Servername : <IMAP servername, Generally Concurrent server node>
Username : <IMAP mail account username>
Password : <IMAP mail account pwd>
Note: Your linux sysadmin will create this mail accounts.
Outbound Email Account section
Servername : <IMAP servername, Generally Concurrent server node>

Press Next….. till Finish.

Make sure, workflow related concurrent managers are up and running, then start the
mailer by clicking on Notification mailer icon.

Checking whether the workflow mailer is working or not:

1. Add any mail id to any application user like “sysadmin” by navigating

Securityusersdefine form

Query mode( press F11) , type SYSADMIN in Username box and press Ctrl F11
Add user mail id to Email box.
Press Save buttion on Tool bar.

2. Submit a concurrent request like “Active user” and in options button specify
the SYSADMIN in “Notify the following people “ section.

Press Ok…then Submit

Once the “Active user “ concurrent request completed successfully, you will get a
mail on the mail id specified for SYSADMIN user. This confirms that workflow
mailer is working fine.
