1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to inform Equitrac and Partner Support staff of the hotfix
release of PCC 4.2.3.0173.

It is intended for Equitrac staff and partners that support and service PCC 4.2.3.

2 Scope
This document will summarize the new features and symptoms/resolution of the issues
addressed with this release.

Note: The release of PCC 4.2.3.0173 includes the following zip files:
• PCC-4.2.3.0173.zip
• RemoteAdministration-1.2.3.0173.zip

3 Release Information
3.1 New in This Release
The following is new with this release:

SR: 180711-001359 Hotfix A scenario was discovered where a long running high
EQ: D-13313 DPI scan could incorrectly be downgraded by the
Equitrac Scan Processing Engine (SPE) if the user
logged out too soon after the scan completed.

3.2 Previously Released Hotfixes Included

There following previously released PCC 4.2.3 hotfixes are included in this release.

4.2.3.0168 SR: 180322- Hotfix Under certain circumstances, in a

EQ: None primary DCE becomes unavailable,
the mfp will go offline instead of
connecting to the secondary DCE.

4.2.3.0166 SR: 170718- Hotfix The AAA libraries used by PCC and
001272; 171004- RemoteAdmin have been downgraded
from 1.4.2 to 1.1.0 to address issues

4.2.3.0159 SR: 170320- Hotfix If the language on the device was set

swipe) was displayed in English.

4.2.3.0158 SR: 160913- Hotfix If Function Access Control was

There are no known issues with this release.

Installation requirements have not changed from the original PCC 4.2.3 release.

There are no new dependencies. Dependencies for applying this hotfix have not changed from
the original PCC 4.2.3 release.

No additional installation requirements are needed for applying this hotfix.

Equitrac Print & Copy Control 4.2.3 Setup Guide. Please ensure to deploy this hotfix using
the same procedure documented for a PCC 4.2.3 (full) install.
