MINUTES OF THE 821ST MEETING OF THE JUNIOR CURIA MARIA CORONATA HELD IN
2ND FLOOR OF MULTI-PURPOSE HALL SAN ROQUE PARISH CHURCH LAST SEPTEMBER
2, 2018

I. Opening Prayer
The meeting started at 2:20 PM with an Opening Prayer and Rosary led by Sis.
Judith Abogadie, President

II. Spiritual Reading

The Spiritual Reading was taken from English Handbook Chapter 37 Topic no. 11
entitled “Work for Armed Services Personnel and People on the Move”.

III. Minutes
The minutes of the 820th meeting was read with no suggestion and correction.

V. Senatus and Commitum Report:

The Senatus and the Commitum Report was reported by Sis. Leny Barajas, Vice-
President.

VI. Election of the Secretary

The Rules and Procedure was read by Sis. Judith Abogadie, President. Afterwards,
she opened the floor for nomination. Sis. Judith nominated Bro. Kenneth and Sis.
Leny second the motion. Sis. Leny nominated Bro. Boy Gabino and Bro. Kenneth
second the motion.
After the 2 minutes interval, the nomination was closed
FIRST BALLOT
Three juniors from Mary, Queen of the Apostles appointed as Board of Election and
counted the ballots
8 valid votes. Bro. Kenneth Samson got 7 votes while Bro. Boy Gabino got 1 vote.
Bro. Kenneth was declared winner. He will vacate the position of Treasurer so Sis.
Judith announced the there will be another election next month for the said position.

VIII. Reports:
OUR LADY OF THE ROSE – The President gave a verbal report and apologize. The status of
the praesidium was temporary unavailable and appealed to Curia for recruitment of new Junior
members. Sis. Judith volunteered to help the President as extension work. She suggested too
that if the President can’t revive the said praesidium, He will appoint him to be reestablish the
Instuitional Praesidium in Male youth center located in Taft Ave.

IX. Catena Legionis

The Catena Legionis was recited at 3:25 PM

X. Allucutio:
The Allucutio was given by Sis. Judith
Access to military establishments may not always be easy to civilians, effective work for soldiers
may require the setting up of praesidia composed of soldiers. This has already been done in
many places with signal success. We need to respect there rules and regulation. There duty is
not reason to stop glorifying God and promotes Peace through diplomacy instead of Armed
Conflict.

XI. Point to be stressed

The point to be stressed was read by Bro. Kenneth Samson
“Among migrants, refugees occupy a very special place and deserve the greatest attention.
Today, there are many millions of refugees in the world and their number is constantly
increasing. They have fled from conditions of political oppression and inhuman misery, from
famine and drought of catastrophic proportions. The Church must make them part of her
overall apostolic concern."
