17. Whether he has executed his will.
18. Whether you have a joint bank account with your husband at your
19. permanent place of residence.
20. Whether you have been nominated for Army Group Insurance (AGI) and
AFPP/DSOP Fund.
a. RIGHT TO MAINTENANCE
31. If your husband does not keep you and your children with him at his duty
Station, you are entitled by law to claim maintenance for yourself and your
children in accordance with section 125 of the criminal procedure code 1973.
Under this Authority you can approach the court of local Judicial Magistrate
and file a petition to obtain maintenance allowance. This prices is however,
time consuming and expensive. The easy way out therefore, is to claim the
maintenance in accordance with sections 90(i) and 91 (i) of the Army Act
1950. Under authority of these sections of the Army act, you can address a
simple letter to any of the authorities from the commanding officer of your
husband to COAS at Army Headquarters,

get the maintenance allowance with speed. Such an application should
